New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I'm really scratching my head over here as to why this place isn't ranked even higher than what it is. The cupcakes are an amazing treat and they taste outstanding. I haven't tried the cakes because but my wife has had them and didn't particularly like them but the cupcakes are something different. They are moist, fresh, buttercream/cream cheese frosting is sweet but so good, and they are super soft. I've tried so many flavors at this point but the ones I really enjoy have to be the classic vanilla, strawberry shortcake, and the cookie dough. They just overall taste great. Can it be a bit pricey for cupcakes? Yes but it's so worth it. Everytime I walk in, service is helpful and overall nice. They do have some seating inside but it's probably more so to go than sitting down to eat.

I happened to stop into this little cupcake bake shop, and it honestly felt like stepping back in time—the place is beautifully decorated with a real old-school charm, they offer some vegan and gluten-free choices which is great to see, there’s a nice variety of layer cakes and an even bigger selection of cupcakes, and the Ho Hos cupcake (chocolate cake with cream filling) brought me right back to my childhood—really well done, I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

Little Cupcake Bakeshop—Prince Street’s Sweetest Problem 🧁 In my previous life I could eat snacks as often as I wanted, but since my bellybutton is not as close to my spine as I would like…I have become very selective in my delectable indulgences. So when I give myself a cheat day, I make it count. First off, this place is designed with social media seduction in mind. In the age of TikTok and Instagram, Little Cupcake Bakeshop is a visual feast of pastels and pinks, chandelier lighting, and a glass display case filled with enough options to send the casual customer into a full-blown decision crisis. I went with the Brooklyn Blackout cake. I cannot tell you much about what happened after the second bite because I woke up in a chocolate coma somewhere in a Willy Wonka fever dream. A fantastic latte kept me company on the way back to reality. Yes, $10+ for a slice of cake will make your wallet wince…but hey, kids can figure out how to pay for college on their own. I love to support family-owned businesses, and Little Cupcake has been one since 2005. Everything here is baked with love in small batches, no preservatives, no shortening, and fresh milk sourced from an upstate farms

No wonder this is rated the best cupcake shop in the US! It’s delicious. We tried the strawberry, cookie dough, carrot and Brooklyn blackout cupcake. The Brooklyn blackout is supposedly the best but surprisingly I preferred the strawberry and cookie dough cupcake. Maybe I’m just not a chocolate girl. I loved the pink box and there was seating inside although we took it to go. I hope to come back soon! 🧁

I walked past this place and decided to stop in just to see if they had gluten and dairy free options… I was honestly ready to take a loss but the girl at the register told me they had vegan and gluten free cupcakes which I was really excited about. As someone who is gluten and dairy free it’s extremely hard finding bakeries that sell food for me… and on top of that making sure it tastes good too. I will say this was the most amazing chocolate cupcake I have tried, I was even skeptical of it being GF/DF because that’s how good it was
